Our Lady Queen of Peace

Christmas Message from Bishop Bradley

My Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

"Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joythat will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord.”

With great joy, we will soon celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. How blessed we are to be His followers, and members of His Church!

Our rejoicing is evidenced by our jubilant voices as we herald the arrival of the Infant Jesus on Christmas Day amidst the prayerful and glorious acclamation of the Angels on that first Christmas morning: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace to people of good will!”

My hope and prayer is that this “great joy” will remain with all of us throughout the Christmas season and the new year.
As we celebrate this holy time may your heart be filled with joy and may you know how special and precious each and every one of you is to God.

Please be assured that I will remember you and all your loved ones as I celebrate Midnight Mass on Christmas morning at St. Augustine Cathedral. May you have a blessed Christmas and a joyful, peace filled New Year!

Faithfully yours in Christ,
+Most Rev. Paul J. Bradley
Bishop of Kalamazoo
